The Cheeseboard

To have the best tasting cheese, it is really important to have a different selection each season throughout the year...This is why every month I feature and describe for you the beautiful flavours and matured to perfection.

 

Taupiniere Fermiere Pécorino Trifulin
This goat cheese has a smooth texture with a light flavour to it.You can taste it fresh or semi matured to try the difference... A cheese which is quite unique with a crumbly texture and an aromatic taste.Some pieces of black truffles going through the cheese.
Epoisses Affinée Picos de Europa

 

A washed rind cheese matured in Marc de Bourgogne,which is the pure esssence to develop a strong character and a creamy to runny texture.

 

A blue cheese wrapped in chetnut leaves, with a distinctive strong aroma from the region of Leon in Spain.

Chaource Affiné Ossau Pur Brebis
A bloomy rind with a very rich creamy texture and a slightly salted aroma.This is an ideal cheese to go with Champagne. A wonderful flavour for this 100% ewe's milk cheese with a very rich texture and quite a meaty flavour.In one word...awesome!
