Here comes the time when we aspiring to go on holiday...again few weeks after Christmas ? Well anyway we all know where to go,on the mountain slopes where the snow just gently falls and we can ski all day long.I have a friend who comes back from her ski holiday week and not only she's brown but she's quite healthy after so much sport and also cheese dinner.When you go to the French Alps what a great place to find perfect cheeses such as Beaufort, Reblochon, etc...So you just have the choice between Fondue, Tartiflette, Raclette to enjoy a ''light'' dinner and go to bed after a busy day! So I asked her which cheese she had over there and she said she had Tartiflette which is a great recipe made with potatoes and Reblochon cooked together in the oven and she tasted a Raclette which is the must at this time of the year.The effect of those dishes are not only the great taste and pleasure it can give you,but it's also a good energiser and a winter warmer, if you choose a good cheese to mix with the potatoes it will be a great experience.I also had this funny question who comes back quite often in eating cheeses before you go to bed,''Did you have bad dream after you ate cheeses in the evening'' she answered''No I slept like a baby''.So forget about all those sayings''bad dreams, nightmares,etc...'' When it's very cold outside and you have a nice group of friends at the chalet just enjoy to share a Fondue Savoyarde or a Raclette as it's very convivial to share the food in the same pan, and don't worry about diet and the shape of your body as it happens only once or twice a year and after a long day of ski. This is why holidays are for and you must make the most of it,coming back to the office with a full vitality and the enjoyment to see your pale colleagues as they kept busy in a London office! If you want us to organise your cheese evenings just ask us to prepare eveything for you and if you know the password ''Eric'' just call me and I make you an unforgettable Fondue as all my friends say about me...!
